Illinois History

Rainbow came to Illinois in 1923. The first assembly was Centralia and 46 girls were initiated.  Over the next 9 years, 10 more assemblies were added and Illinois had its first Grand Assembly in 1931.  Mary Alice Sargent Norman served as the first Grand Worthy Advisor.
